The Public and Administrative Law cases we deal with reflect our emphasis on legal development and reform and our efforts to enhance Human Rights in Hong Kong. This extends to judicial review challenges to the constitutionality of legislation and the protection of clients' rights enshrined under the Basic Law, the Bill of Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political rights.
We handle cases of public importance ranging from those touching on the right of the legal profession to represent clients in the courts, to an individual's challenge to the constitutionality of current laws affecting homosexuals males under 21 years of age and the protection of Hong Kong resident's rights to equal treatment, privacy and the prohibition of discrimination.
